WCRTC will organize Evening Workshops on Tuesday January 19th and Thursday January 21st, 2016, from 8 pm to 10 pm.
These workshops are open discussions around a few topics. As examples, we had the following topics in 2012: Seed Systems, Cassava Landraces, Value chain, Genetic transformation, Transgenic Crops and Biosafety, Cassava Brown Streak disease, Cassava Genetic databases...
Anybody can make a proposal using this form, then the Congress Committee will review the proposals and select the best ones, a meeting room for about 50 to 100 people will be reserved for this workshop on either Tuesday January 19th, or Thursday January 21st in the evening. An open bar will be available in the atrium of the meeting building for the duration of the evening workshops.
There is no cost associated with these workshops.
All it takes is a good idea, and a good chair (or two), to contact a few people and drive the discussion. You could choose a few speakers with informal presentations to jump start the discussion and then open the debate to the attendance. The goal of these discussions is to generate new projects around new ideas!
If you are interested to chair a workshop, please submit this form.
The full list of workshops is now available here.
